COMPETITIVE

NorCal ELITE is focused on track and field athletes (sprints, hurdles, horizontal jumps, vertical jumps, and weight throws). But it is for all athletes that want to elevate their strength, speed, balance, and agility (soccer, basketball, football, baseball, etc.).
Moving faster and moving efficiently will greatly improve your performance.
How does the training progression work?
There are three phases to the NorCal ELITE program.
Phase One – August & September
This is the beginning base strength, agility, and conditioning phase. We will be in the weightroom and on the track doing strength workouts. There will be running conditioning work and lateral agility work done. As well as running technique drills, balance drills and core work.
Phase Two – October, November & December
This phase has more strength plus explosive power work. More intense running workouts and event specific technique work (start blocks, hurdle drills, LJ & TJ drills, HJ & PV drills and throwing drills). Some athletes will go to their winter sports and will be fully prepared. Others will continue training for track & field.
Phase Three – January and February
This is early competition phase. We will continue with strength/explosive work, running conditioning and event technique work. But we will add actual competitions. The High School Winter Championship Series (I am looking to host a meet at MCHS), Cal Berkeley All Comers meets and a couple of indoor track meets, TBD.
Release to Your Team – March through May
This is the regular track season when all athletes return to their school team. Everyone should be strong and fully ready to compete at Big Cat, Twilight and other meets and work towards qualifying into Stanford and Arcadia invites. The main goal is qualifying to NCS Meet of Champions Finals and compete for a spot at CIF State Championships
Single Session Training $20/session
Payment in cash due upon arrival for session.
NorCal ELITE code of conduct
On occasions, clubs find themselves faced with difficult members that create extreme problems for their club. These problems often include creating a hostile environment for other members due to unwanted physical or sexual contact, verbal abuse, racial or ethnic slurs, and more. While the need to remove club members is rare, it has happened on occasion due to inappropriate behavior. NorCal ELITE and Coach Vic Hudson are very serious about the code of conduct, and it will be enforced.
